Description

Sweet Chili Glazed Chicken Thighs – crispy, sticky, and flavorful air fryer chicken thighs with a tangy-sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Lightly spray with cooking spray and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up. Cook at 380°F for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Brush chicken generously with the sweet chili glaze. Return to the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to caramelize.
  5. Remove and brush with extra glaze before serving.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
