- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles
- 1½ cups chicken broth
- 1 packet (1 oz) halal ranch seasoning
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Optional toppings: green onions, extra cheese, Fritos, cornbread
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add corn, black beans, tomatoes with green chiles, chicken broth, halal ranch seasoning, chili powder, cumin, and onion powder. Stir gently to combine.
- Place the cream cheese on top of the mixture; do not stir in.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Remove the chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the pot.
- Stir everything together until the cream cheese is melted and well incorporated. Add shredded cheddar cheese and turkey bacon; stir again and let sit for 5–10 minutes.
- Serve warm with toppings such as green onions, extra cheese, or Fritos.

- Adding the cream cheese on top without stirring initially helps create a creamy swirl rather than fully melted chunks.
- Shredding the chicken before returning it to the pot ensures even flavor distribution.
- Thin or thicken the chili by adjusting the chicken broth to achieve your preferred consistency.
