Homemade Caramel Apple Jam: a rich, fall-inspired spread that captures autumn flavors with cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramel.

- 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine diced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir well.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until apples soften and mixture thickens (about 20 minutes).
- Stir in caramel sauce and continue cooking another 10–15 minutes, until jam reaches a spreadable consistency.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer to sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks, or process in a water bath for longer storage.
