  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional for extra fudginess)
  • For the Ghost Topping:
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 4 oz white chocolate or candy melts, melted
  • Black decorating gel or melted dark chocolate for eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 22–25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, place marshmallows evenly on top of the brownies.
