Description

  • ½ cup pumpkin purée
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • For the cinnamon sugar coating:
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin purée, brown sugar, oil, egg, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix just until combined—don’t overmix.
  5. Spoon or pipe batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Dip warm donuts in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
  9. Serve fresh and enjoy the warm fall flavors!
