Description

Creamy Pepperoncini Chicken Skillet – a tangy, creamy one-pan chicken dish that comes together in just 30 minutes and delivers bold, epic flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • ½ cup pepperoncini brine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add sliced pepperoncinis and pepper brine. Stir and let simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Can be made with chicken thighs or breasts; adjust cook time accordingly.
  • For a thicker sauce, simmer a few extra minutes or whisk in a little extra cream.
  • Leftovers refrigerate well for up to 3 days; reheat gently on the stovetop.
  • Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
