Description
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a tender, one-pan dinner featuring chicken simmered in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce.

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cream and parmesan, whisking until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm with pasta, rice, or bread.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for juicier results.
- Use half-and-half for a lighter version, or heavy cream for a richer sauce.
- For a lighter dish, reduce butter to 2 tablespoons and/or omit extra salt.
