Creamy Crock Pot Ranch Chicken: Tender chicken simmered in a rich, creamy ranch and garlic sauce—this hands-off dinner is full of flavor and made for busy weeknights.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (1 oz) halal ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
- Lightly grease the bottom of your slow cooker with olive oil.
- Place the chicken breasts in the Crock-Pot.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, cream soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fork-tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker or leave whole, as preferred.
- Stir the sauce to fully coat the chicken, and garnish with parsley or green onions before serving.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or with steamed vegetables.
Notes
- Halal ranch seasoning is used in this recipe to keep the dish Halal-friendly.
- Cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup works for the sauce.
- Leftovers refrigerate well and can be reheated on the stove or in the microwave.
- To lighten it up, you can use light sour cream or Greek yogurt as a substitute for part of the sour cream.
