Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded halal chicken
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup buffalo sauce (mild or hot, to taste)
  • 1 cup ranch or halal sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine buffalo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add in shredded chicken, cooked pasta, and half of both cheeses. Mix well to coat.
  5. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden cheesy top.
  7. Garnish with green onions or parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Cheesy top is classic—top with more cheese for a richer finish.
  • Breadcrumbs or extra crunch can be added by sprinkling a mixture of breadcrumbs with melted butter on top before baking (optional).
