- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups cooked, shredded halal chicken
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup buffalo sauce (mild or hot, to taste)
- 1 cup ranch or halal sour cream
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine buffalo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add in shredded chicken, cooked pasta, and half of both cheeses. Mix well to coat.
- Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden cheesy top.
- Garnish with green onions or parsley before serving.
Notes
- Cheesy top is classic—top with more cheese for a richer finish.
- Breadcrumbs or extra crunch can be added by sprinkling a mixture of breadcrumbs with melted butter on top before baking (optional).
- Can be prepared ahead; assemble, cover, and refrigerate; bake as directed to serve.
- To adjust spiciness, use mild or hot buffalo sauce.
