  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • For the cream cheese glaze:
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk (add more for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish or round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, both sugars, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined into a soft dough.
  5. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle (about ¼-inch thick).
  6. Spread a little melted butter and sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar if desired.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 6–8 rolls. Place them in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 22–28 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  9. While baking, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
