Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in cinnamon-sugar coated apple pieces.
- Spoon batter into waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then dip or drizzle with glaze.
