  • 2 large eggs

  • 1½ cups peeled, chopped apples (about 12 apples)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in yogurt and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture just until combined. Fold in chopped apples.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon swirl ingredients together.
  7. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top.
  8. Add remaining batter, then top with remaining cinnamon mixture. Swirl with a knife.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
